The Muleriders outscored the Peacocks 22-8 in the first quarter with six points each from senior forwards Alyssa Crase and Erin Brinkley. Crase made the game's opening bucket as well as four free throws. Brinkley had a pair of three-pointers.

The second quarters saw the Muleriders revert to the Muleriders of last year, going 1-17 from the field as the Peacocks entered the half with a two-point lead.

Head coach Adam Collins' squad was able to collect itself for the second half, outscoring the Peacocks 47-19 as the Muleriders cruised to a 26-point victory.

The Muleriders' new core of players has improved this team, as last year's team did not earn their second win until January 17th, or game number 15 on the season.

The Muleriders had a pair of players score in double-digits – Crase and Maggie Evans. Crase finished with 10 points while Evans finished with a team-high 12 points, eight rebounds and three assists in 20 minutes on the floor.

Evans has experienced a scoring boom early in this campaign. In the junior's previous 56 games for the Muleriders, she did not score more than 10 points once. In the first two games of this season, the Conway native has done so twice, in addition to being the only Mulerider to score more than 10 points in both games this season.

For the weekend, Evans scored 25 points on 7-19 shooting from the field, grabbing 11 rebounds and going 9-12 from the charity stripe.

Diamond Morris seized a team-high four steals in 22 minutes as the Muleriders recorded 17 steals among 11 players on the day and forced 34 Peacock turnovers.

The Muleriders out-rebounded the Peacocks 50-36 as four players recorded five or more rebounds.

On the weekend, the Muleriders forced 70 turnovers in 80 minutes.

The Muleriders are back in action next Saturday at Mississippi College in Clinton, MS.
