The Southern Arkansas track and field teams opened their spring season Saturday at the Mississippi College Outdoor Season Opener in Clinton, competing against a total of 30 schools ranging across all divisions, including NAIA and JUCO schools.
Despite the deep level of competition, the Muleriders saw a quartet of athletes finish in the top three overall in their respective events.
Rozlyne Manor finished third in the women's 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:06.81.
On the men's side, three Muleriders claimed second or third in their respective events.
Rob Kraus, fresh off being named a First-Team All-GAC selection, finished second in the men's 5,000 meter run with a time of 15:27.67.
Sal Guli finished second in the discus with a throw of 43.42 meters and Dylan German finished third in the pole vault with a distance of 4.56 meters.
The Muleriders are back in action on March 14 when they compete at the Hendrix Invitational in Conway.
