Magnolia High School swimmers took part in four meets during November.

The Magnolia High swim team competed in four meets during November.

Magnolia swam on November 1 against Bryant, Benton, Russellville, El Dorado, Little Rock, Hot Springs, Catholic and Camden Fairview. The Lady Panthers placed 2nd overall and 1st among the 4A-1A teams. The Panthers placed 4th overall and 1st among the 4A-1A teams.

The team traveled to El Dorado for its second meet against El Dorado and Camden Fairview. The Lady Panthers placed 1st overall and 1st in 4A. The Panthers placed 2nd overall and 1st in 4A.

The third meet of the season was on November 8 at Bryant against Conway, Bryant, Benton, Arkadelphia, El Dorado, Hot Springs and Little Rock Christian. The Lady Panthers placed 4th overall and 1st in 4A. The Panthers placed 4thoverall and 1st in 4A.

In a dual meet against Texas High, both the Lady Panthers and Panthers competed in some great swims and placed well for the level of competition at the meet.

Over the last four meets Magnolia has had several individual swimmers swim qualifying times in individual events. The girls’ and boys’ relays teams have qualifying times for the state meet.

The district meet is February 8, hosted by Arkadelphia High School at Henderson State University. The state meet is February 23 in Bentonville.
