Logoly State Park will take part Thursday, New Year's Day, in the “First Day Hikes” program sponsored by the parks programs in all 50 states.
First Day Hikes are designed to promote healthy lifestyles and year-round recreation at the nation’s state parks.
The Logoly hike will be 10-11 a.m. on Crain’s Fly Trail. The trail is 3/4-mile long and rated as moderate, so good walking shoes are a must. This is a guided hike led by park staff that will give people a chance to admire the stark beauty of the bare winter trees.
For more information or to pre-register for the hike by contact the park at (870) 695-3561 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Logoly State Park is located 5 miles north of Magnolia on Columbia County Road 47 off U.S. 79.
