Graveside services for Carole Sue Rogers will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 12 at the Village Cemetery.

Carole Sue Rogers, 83, of Magnolia passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado.

Sue was born on December 9, 1937 in Monticello. Sue worked alongside her husband at Harold Rogers Logging and Pulpwood Company. She was a woman with a strong faith in God who daily prayed for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Vernon and Hazel Dell (Moses) Boone; and sister, Dell Bolton.

Sue is survived by her husband of 61 years, Harold Rogers of Magnolia; son, W.D. Rogers of Emerson; daughter, Renee Smith and husband Tracy of Little Rock; sister, Shirley Watkins of Harrison; grandchildren, Drew Smith and wife Sydney of Little Rock and Ty Smith and wife Chelsea of Summerville, SC; seven great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 12 at the Village Cemetery with Dr. Eric Goble officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., in Magnolia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Village Cemetery, 9 Broadmoor, Magnolia, AR 71753.
