Corrie (Elliott) Nolen Perry, 92, of Houston passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at The Village of the Heights Assisted Living.
Corrie was born on January 18, 1927 in Stephens to the late Porter and Emma (Parker) Elliott. She was a lifelong Methodist and loved “hooking” also known as knitting. She was formerly active in the Kidney Foundation in Oklahoma City.
Corrie was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Cecil B. Nolen; a granddaughter, Courtney Nolen; and siblings, Parker Elliott, Mary Elliott, Clark Elliott, and Jo Ann Wilson.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Warren Perry of Houston; sons, Brooks Nolen and wife Roselyn of Willis, TX, Britt Nolen and wife Rebecca of Houston, and Glen Perry and wife Jan of Troup, TX; grandchildren, Stephanie Majoros and husband Tim of Collingswood, NJ, Craig Nolen and fiancé Ryan of Fort Worth, TX, Amy Huntsman and husband Stuart of Lafayette, LA, and Marcus Perry of Los Angeles; great-grandchildren, Wesley and Winston Majoros, Cora Brown, and Dean and Evelyn Huntsman; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at Lewis Funeral Home in Magnolia.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Elliott Cemetery with Rev. David Moore officiating.
