Funeral services for Cynthia Sue Carter will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 7 at the First Baptist Church in Stephens.

Cynthia “Cindy” Sue Carter, 53, of Stephens passed away Friday, October 4, 2019 at the CHI St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock.

Cindy was born April 19, 1966 in New Orleans, LA. She was employed with Easterline Defense Technologies in Camden. She was an avid fisherman and loved directing the Media Bass Tournaments.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Denman William and Allene (Duncan) Armstrong; and her brothers, Chris and Denny Armstrong.

Cindy is survived by her husband of 14 years, Daniel Carter of Stephens; son, Michael J. Duncan of Magnolia; sisters, Tammy Armstrong and Angie Armstrong of Magnolia; stepchildren, Kayla Carter of Stephens, Daniel Carter Jr. and wife Kayce of Marysville, Mary Beth Shelton and husband Derrick of Smackover, grandchildren Chris Duncan and Bradley Duncan of Magnolia, Bentlee Hoag, Isabella Couie and Serenity Ruth of Stephens, Blayton Carter, Kaleb Carter, Hayden Carter, Kindall Carter, and Kaden Thompson of Marysville; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Lewis Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 7 at the First Baptist Church in Stephens with Bro. Sandy Carter officiating.

Burial will follow at the Elliott Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., in Magnolia.

Pallbearers will be Greg Barwick, Teddy Walthall, Doug Ruby, Bobby Burton, Scott Smith, and Mickey Fontana.

The family requests memorial donations are made to the Elliott Cemetery in Stephens.
