Norma Jean Daniels was born August 21, 1940 in Atlanta, Arkansas to the late Kenny and Leonia Easter.
She departed this life on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Magnolia Regional Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by both parents; her husband, R.J. Daniels; two sons, Larry Lee and Gary Lynn Daniels; and two grandchildren, Lynn Beck and Gary Lynn Daniels Jr.
She is survived by one daughter, Doris Harris of Houston; three sons, Wilmer Daniels of Dallas, Douglas (Teresa) Daniels of Jacksonville and Anthony (Tiera) Daniels of Magnolia; two sisters, Alice Faye Hardwell of TEXarkana and Margie Easter of Magnolia; two brothers, Jerry Easter of Florida and Olive (Delories) Easter of Dallas; six grandchildren, Derrick and Donna Berry, Lakesha Hempfield, Kesha Mitchell, Taylor Rice and Tidra Daniels; seven great-grandchildren. La Tydrick Berry, Derrick Berry, Jr., Tylaa Berry, Ka’Myia Hempfield, Khloe Overnon, Artavius Overnon and Talandria Rice; her friends, Shirley Mullins and Pearlene Nelson of Dallas, and Jean Chandler; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends all whom loved her dearly.
Visitation will be 11:30 am. To 4:30 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2020 at Marks Funeral Home in Magnolia.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Mount Israel CME Church in Atlanta.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Marks Funeral Home.
The Rev. Gladys Fields will be the clergywoman.
