Diane Johnson, 56, of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at her home.
She was born on October 3, 1955 in Houma, Louisiana to the late William Alton Wedgeworth and LaDeene Virginia (Burdine) Cole. She was a member of the North Acres Baptist Church and employed at Southern Arkansas University for more than 21 years.
Diane is survived by her husband, Michael Johnson of Magnolia; her three children, Alton Bailey and wife Alicia of El Dorado, Arkansas, Debra Bailey of Buckner, Rex “Kuhn” Michael Wayne Johnson of Magnolia; six grandchildren, Dominick Bailey and Christian Bailey of El Dorado, Clarissa Bailey, Melissa Bailey, Dalton Ray, and Meridith Perkison, all of Buckner; one brother, Ray Wedgeworth of Rhone, Texas; and four sisters, Louise Dowling of Magnolia, Lois Evans of Camden, Virginia Spencer of Franklinton, Louisiana, and Pam Benson of Mena, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2012 at the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Tick Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Dominick Bailey, Dalton Ray, Ron Wood, Shone Dowling, George Kirkpatrick, Darrell Watson and Mike Christianson.
