Graveside services for Betty Ann Collins will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2019 at the Memorial Park Cemetery.

Betty Ann (Tatom) Collins, 74, of Magnolia, formerly of Waldo and Stamps, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Magnolia.

Betty was born on June 18, 1945 in Stamps to the late Ovlen Oliver and Lois Inez (Yancey) Tatom. She was a member of the Jackson Street Church of Christ. Betty retired from Magnolia City Hospital and the Ouachita Medical Center as a respiratory therapist and was a cosmetologist for years before becoming a physical therapist. She loved gardening, sewing for her family and going to craft shows with her mother.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim Collins; son-in-law, Kenneth Mayo; sister, Janell Lindsey; and brother, Richard C. “Dickie” Tatom.

She is survived by her daughters, Kalene Mayo of Magnolia and Melinda Watson and husband Alan of Magnolia; grandsons, Jesse Mayo of Magnolia and Thomas Watson and wife Mandy of Magnolia; granddaughters, Kayla Mayo Garner and husband Lee of Hampton, VA, Amanda Baker and husband Jordan of Magnolia, and Abby Rowe and husband Bradley of Emerson; great-grandchildren, Taylor Mayo, Cameron Mayo, Lainey Mayo, Kata Mayo, Josephine Garner, Aiden Watson, Jace Watson, Zoey Watson, River Baker, Avery Baker and Josie Rowe; sisters, Judy Kendall and husband Larry of Stamps, and Brenda Scroggins of Stamps; brother, Donald Tatom and wife Annette of Stamps; sister-in-law, Glenda Tatom of Stamps; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2019 at the Memorial Park Cemetery with Joel Bailey officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., in Magnolia. Visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
