Martha Henry Ruch, 64, of Fouke passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019 at the CHI St. Michael Health System in TEXarkana.
Martha was born January 25, 1955 in Magnolia. She was a homemaker and a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church. Martha had a love and passion for animals and was active in animal rescue and rehabilitation.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lois (Snider) Henry; and her son, Brandon Scott Hughes.
Martha is survived by her husband of 31 years, Steven Ruch of Fouke; son, Jason Hughes and wife Casey of Walkerville; daughter, Stephani Ruch of Fouke; grandchildren, Brylie Hughes and London Hughes of Walkerville, Hailie Ruch, Summer Ruch, and Elijah Ruch of Fouke; brother, Curtis Henry of Macedonia; sister, Rovilla Reeves of Bryant; best friend, Dana White of Bossier City, LA; special friend, Josh Eads and wife Megan of Magnolia; and a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2019 at the Macedonia Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. with Bro. Joe Owens officiating. Burial will be at the Macedonia Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Josh Eads, Wes Warlick, James Souter, Paul Merritt, Darryl Merritt, and Dennis Caswell.
The family requests memorial donations are made to an animal rescue society of the donor’s choice.
