She was introduced to God at an early age and accepted Christ as her personal Savior at Seminary A.M.E Church in Stephens. She was a member of the Ester Chapter 337, O.E.S. and J.C. Corbin Assembly No. 204. On December 20, 1995, Janice was united in marriage to Matthew Easter. To this union, three children, Sashia, Shanice, and Shermar, were born. In July 2014, Janice and Jermilliam Daniels were united in holy matrimony in a destination wedding in Maui, Hawaii.

Janice was a 1991 graduate of Stephens High School in Stephens. She earned an associate of science in education from Southern Arkansas University Tech and transferred to Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia where she obtained a bachelor of science in education, master of science in elementary education, and a second master of science in special education. Janice was working toward principal certification which she would have achieved in May 2020.

In 2006, Janice began her career working for Camden Fairview School District. She was currently employed with the Magnolia School District as a Pre-K teacher at Walker Pre-Kindergarten Center where she was named 2016 “Teacher of the Year.”

Janice was a loving and devoted mother. Her family was her pride and joy. She loved her children, grands, and family; consequently, everyone who knew her loved her sweet spirit and humble presence which was always evident. She never met a stranger and was willing to help anyone, if possible. One of her favorite things to do, besides working and caring for her family, was shopping. This loving and caring young lady will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Lorean Daniels; grandfather, Harold Butler; and sister, Shelia Daniels.
