On January 10, 1987, Obilean Harper and the late Robert Lee Sargent were blessed with a son to whom they gave the name De’Angelo Markeitheon Sargent.
Dee grew up in McNeil, where he attended Mc Neil Elementary School until the fourth grade. He spent the remainder of his childhood in Stephens, where he attended Stephens Elementary and Stephens High School. He graduated in 2005 from Magnolia High School.

His family was everything to him, especially his girls. His daughters meant the world to him and made him a better man. Dee was always encouraging his siblings to be the best versions of themselves that they could be. He enjoyed basketball and was a very loyal Lakers fan.
