Jeremiah Davis Harper, 65, of St. Louis, MO, formerly of Stamps, passed away Monday evening, March 22, 2021, at St. Mary Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Jeremiah was born on February 5, 1956, to the late Velma Harper in Stamps.
Jeremiah was preceded in death by his mother, Velma Harper; grandmother, Gertrude Williams; and two brothers, Ricky L. Harper and Larry Revels.
He leaves to cherish his memories with one daughter, LaSonya (Nathan) Staggs of Houston, TX; one son, Steven Davis of Stamps; one sister, Carolyn Brown of St. Louis, MO; one brother, Otis (Georgia Mae) Brown; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, and nephews.
He also leaves cherished memories with two good friends, Butch Hayes and John Ward; and favorite cousins, L.B. Seamster and Cora Lee Seamster.
Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Thursday, April 8 at R.L. Reed Funeral Home.
A graveside celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2021 at Lakeside Cemetery in Stamps under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone is required to wear a mask at visitation and the funeral service.
