Judy Brackett, 77, of Magnolia, formerly of Kentucky, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019 at her home.
Judy was born June 18, 1942 in Louisville to the late Orville W. and Sarah E. (Darnell) Miller. She was a master gardener who loved plants and flowers. She loved spending time with her family especially the holidays and change of seasons. She enjoyed arts and crafts, genealogy, writing, and was always willing to take on a new project. She loved her dogs and enjoyed collecting dolls and antiques. Judy had a strong faith and had a love of life and positive attitude that endured until she drew her last breath.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Barbara Hart; and brothers, Danny Ray and Richard Miller.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Stanley Brackett of Magnolia; sons, Travis Brackett (Athena) of Magnolia, Todd Brackett (Sheryl) of Magnolia, and Trever Brackett (Karri) of Greenbrier; grandchildren, Thomas Brackett of Fort Worth, TX, Justin Foster of Savannah, GA, Hayden Foster of Magnolia, Theresa Webb (Chris) of Fort Worth, TX, Heath Brackett of Savannah, GA, Roxanne Brackett of Magnolia, Sarah Brackett of Greenbrier, and Abigail Brackett of Greenbrier; great grandchildren, Lillian Webb of Fort Worth, Melody Ellis of Magnolia, Elias Elkind of Las Vegas, Jace Foster and Jaxen Foster of Magnolia; sister, Shirley Hall; brothers, Roger Miller and P.J. Miller; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., in Magnolia with Bro. Haagon Lister officiating. The family requests memorial donations be sent to Columbia County Animal Protection Society, P.O. Box 2003, Magnolia, AR 71754.
