Glenadine “Glenda” L. Harris died Saturday, July 20, 2019 at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs.
She was born April 1, 1956 to Deacon John Lowery Jr. and Sister Fannie Mae Lowery. She confessed her love Christ at an early age and united with the Salem Missionary Baptist Church. She graduated from Junction City High School and was employed by Medical Center of South Arkansas for many years. Sister Glenda was united in holy matrimony to Brother Leodis Harris, and to this union one daughter was born.
She was preceded in death by her husband; brother, Leodis Harris; and father, John Lowery Jr.
Sister Glenda leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Fannie Mae Lowery; daughter, Brittani Harris; two granddaughters Za’Nayia and Braylei Harris; three stepdaughters; Aretha Watson, Keela Harris and Bridgette Watkins; three stepsons, Miller Ray Mills of El Dorado, Leodis Harris Jr. and Melvin Harris of New Mexico; one sister, Mary Jean (Earl) Carter; two brothers, Daniel Paul (Paterce) Lowery and Thomas (Cheryl) Lowery of El Dorado; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who love her tremendously and will truly miss her.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 30 at Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Junction City, AR.
Clergyman will be the Rev. Robert Harris.
Services are under the direction of Marks Funeral Home, Inc., in Magnolia.
