Vincent Dean Sampson, 51, of Mount Pleasant, TX, formerly of Willisville, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019 in Mount Pleasant.
Vince was born on July 28, 1967 in Little Rock to the late Larry Dean and Bennie Maxine (Pipkin) Sampson. He was a truck driver for Denali Water Solutions in Russellville, and formerly a civilian contractor for Red River Army Depot in Iraq. He was a volunteer firefighter, an avid hunter and enjoyed riding motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Sampson of Mount Pleasant; children, Jeremy Sampson and wife Deztiny of Shongaloo, LA, Tina Sampson of Dalton, AL, Jonathan Sampson of New Boston, TX, McKenzie Owens Jullian and husband Dustin of Pittsburg, TX, Stetson Parrish of Sulphur Springs, TX, Lee Foster of TEXarkana, Stephanie Gibbs and Angel Henderson of Prattville, AL; grandchildren, Kaylee Sampson, Jace Sampson, Alexis Sampson, and Aleigh Kirkpatrick of Shongaloo, Cole Jullian of Pittsburg, Braxton Parrish of Sulphur Springs, Kashton Parrish of Cookville, TX, Autumn Osteen, John Paul McMaus, Braxton Gibbs, Aaliyah Bibb and Cayden Bibb of Prattville, and one grandchild due to be born in December; and cousin, Ronnie Pipkin and wife Sherry of Willisville.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., in Magnolia with Dr. Eric Goble officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday, July 27 at the funeral home.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Pipkin, Ronnie Pipkin Jr. “Trey,” Billy Pipkin, Jeremy Sullivan, Paul Pipkin, and Leon Butler, Taylor Sullivan, Mike Huddleston and Lee Foster.
