James Curtis Davis, 68, of Stamps passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at Arkansas Health Center in Benton.
He was born to the late Wes and Lurline Davis, May 3, 1951, in Stamps.
Curtis was a member of Buchanan Baptist Church and had a very close relationship with his sister Betty. No matter where he was or what he had gotten into, he always found a way to reach out to her.
James Curtis Davis was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves cherished memories to one daughter; Cynthia (James L.) Easter of Falcon; one son; Kendrick Davis of Vallejo, CA; two sisters, Betty Forest McCrae of Stamps and Maurice Davis of Toledo, OH; one brother, Grover Davis of Stamps; two granddaughters, Cynethia and Jamesa Easter of Little Rock; one grandson, Ricardo Wimbley Sr. of Stamps; one great-grandson, Ricardo Wimbley Jr. of Lewisville; one great granddaughter, Emaree Lewis of Little Rock; special friends, Josephine Wimbley and John Henry Malone; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins that he loved dearly.
A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 13 at Buchanan Baptist Church in Stamps.
Burial will follow in the Lakeside Cemetery in Stamps under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home of Magnolia.
Officiating will be Rev. Wesley McDiffie.
Visitation will be noon-4:30 p.m. Friday, July 12 at Reed Funeral Home.
