Two killed

Two truck drivers were killed Friday in a wreck on U.S. 167.

Two truck drivers were killed about 1:15 p.m. Friday in a collision on U.S. 167 South in El Dorado.

According to a preliminary Arkansas State Police report, Kenes LaJeunesse, 42, of Jacksonville was driving a 2017 Freightliner north on the highway. Terry Reed, 52, of El Dorado, was driving a 2005 Freightliner south on U.S. 167.

LaJeunesse’s truck crossed the center line and struck the Reed vehicle, the report said.

The men were taken to Medical Center of South Arkansas, where they died.

The weather was clear and the road was dry.
