Two drivers died Friday afternoon in a collision on the U.S. 167 bridge over the Ouachita River in Union County.
According to a preliminary Arkansas State Police report, a northbound 2018 model GMC Sierra, driven by William Jacob Bradley, 21, of Hampton, crossed the center line on the bridge.
Bradley’s truck collided with a southbound 2014 model Chevrolet Express passenger van driven by Eric Christopher White, 44, of West Monroe.
Both men died.
The weather was cloudy and the road was dry at the time of the crash at about 4:01 p.m.
Trooper Hunter J. Glover investigated the accident for the Arkansas State Police.
