Road work

Work will take place Monday on Interstate 30 between the Gurdon and Gum Springs exits.

Maintenance work on Interstate 30 requires a temporary lane closure in Clark County, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation officials.

Weather permitting, crews will close the outside westbound lane of I-30 between mile markers 64 and 66 starting at 7:30 a.m. on Monday.

The closure will remain in place until work is completed, which is estimated to be that same afternoon. Traffic will be controlled by signage and traffic barrels. Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
