The Hope Feel Mill owned by Pilgrim’s Pride is going to be closing down.

Margaret McDonald, with Pilgrim’s Pride corporate office in Greeley, Colorado, confirmed Friday that the mill will be closing by the end of this month.

McDonald says the company’s mill in Nashville, Arkansas has become more efficient allowing them to close the plant located on Highway 29 South in Hope.

She says the 12 employees at the mill are being offered positions at other nearby Pilgrim’s operations. While the feed mill is scheduled to close by the end of this month, some employees will remain employed there during November to clean up the facility.
