The tractor trailer, which was registered to FedEx Freight Inc, was being operated by Milton D. Magee, 43, of Clinton, MS. The Altima and Malibu were not damaged in crash.
Hewitt sustained fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Bossier Parish coroner. Johnson was airlifted to Willis-Knighton North in Shreveport with serious injuries.
Magee, was not injured in the crash, was ticketed for improper lane usage.
