Three people died in separate South Arkansas motor vehicle incidents on Tuesday morning.
Kentrell A. Ivory, 24, of Springdale died when he was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer about 12:03 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 30 near the 12-mile marker in Miller County.
Ivory was running across the highway from the south when he was struck by an eastbound 2020 model Kenworth.
Alisa Jones, 47, of Thornton was killed about 6:30 a.m. in an accident on Chambersville Road in Calhoun County. She was a passenger in a 2020 Hyundai Accent driven by Charles R. Jones, 51.
Charles Jones was driving the vehicle east on the road when he failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the left shoulder of the road. The vehicle struck several trees. He was injured and taken to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Gary U. Godwin, 60, of Story died about 6:40 a.m. in a wreck on Arkansas 27 in Montgomery County.
Godwin was driving a 2012 model Chevrolet Malibu when his vehicle exited the east side of the highway and struck a tree.
