A Warren man died about 4:24 p.m. Tuesday in a one-vehicle wreck on U.S. 63 in rural Bradley County.

According to a preliminary Arkansas State Police report, Gary S. Lloyd was driving a 2013 model Ford north on the highway when he failed to negotiate a right-hand curve. The vehicle’s undercarriage stuck an embankment, causing the left front of the vehicle to hit a tree and roll over on its right side.

Lloyd died at the scene.

The weather was clear and the road was dry.

Trooper Walker Morphis investigated the accident, which was the second fatal wreck in Bradley County since Saturday. Samuel N. Clanton, 44, of Hermitage was killed about 4 p.m. Saturday in a one-vehicle wreck on Arkansas 8 near the Johnsville community south of Warren.
