Oil well

One oil well completion and one oil well workover have been announced with production results in South Arkansas.

Two well completions have been reported to the Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission.

Quanico Oil & Gas of El Dorado is the operator of both wells.

The Craig-Moody No. 1 is located 2,000 feet FNL and 659 feet FEL in Section 17-17S14W in the Champagnolle Field of Union County. It was drilled to 6,254 feet in the Smackover Line with perforations between 6,184 and 6,194 feet. Daily production was 25 barrels of 21-gravity oil. Work was finished December 30.

The Greenlee A-2 is located 2,193 feet FWL and 2,031 feet FNL in Section 22-18S-15W in the Catesville Field of Union County. It was drilled to 2,302 feet in the Nacatoch Zone, with perforations between 2,164 and 2,174 feet. No production was listed. Work was finished January 8.

Workovers

Mission Creek Opcp, LLA, of Magnolia has finished the workover of the Formby No. 1 in section 12-18S-22W of the Dorcheat-Macedonia Field of Columbia County. Total depth was to 8,800 feet. Perforations were between 6,750 and 8,658 feet in the Cotton Valley Zone. Daily production was 36.7 barrels of oil and 27 mcf of natural gas. Work was finished December 13.

Albemarle Corporation completed the workover of Brine Supply Well 636 in Section 2-17S-21W in the Kilgore Lodge Field of Columbia County. Perforations were between 11,447 and 12,100 feet in the Smackover Lime. Work was finished December 30.

Albemarle Corporation completed the workover of its Brine Injection Well No. 65 located in the Kerlin Field of Columbia County. Perforations were between 7,760 and 8,140 feet in the Smackover Lime Zone. Work was finished December 3.
