We conducted a similar poll in August 2013, when the Magnolia City Council was considering a motion to allow limited deer hunting in the city limits. The results of that poll were almost the opposite of this week’s poll. Those results:

“Should the Magnolia City Council authorize some form of deer hunting within the city limits?”

Yes, 110 votes, 53.92 percent.

No, 94 votes, 46.8 percent.

Total votes: 204.
