Two prisoners who fled a work assignment on Friday in Union Parish, LA, have both been returned to custody.

Shawn Hoelz, 32, of Farmerville, was arrested by Farmerville police about 3 p.m. Sunday.

Stacy Lee Phillips Jr., 28, was captured about noon Saturday.

The Union Parish Sheriff's Office said Phillips and Hoelz left their work release duties at the Union Parish Police Jury Highway Barn on Park Street in Farmerville. They stole a white-colored Ford-F250 belonging to the Union Parish Police Jury and left in an unknown direction.

The truck was found in the Sardis community.

Farmerville is about 60 miles southeast of Magnolia.
