Possible legalization of deer hunting in the Magnolia city limits will come before the City Council at its meeting at 5 p.m. today.
The council meets in the Police-Fire Building. Meetings are open to the public.
Council members heard information last month from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission about its rules for an urban deer hunt as a way to control deer populations with city limits. Today’s discussion will follow up on that information.
Also on the agenda is a report from Bob Edstrom on the findings of the Magnolia Utility audit. Councilman Jamie Waller will present a report from the Street Committee.
