Smoke rises from debris around a fire in a shed off North Vine Street.

Magnolia firefighters extinguished on Friday night a fire that destroyed a shed off North Vine Street.

Firefighters were dispatched about 7:40 p.m. to the blaze located behind Diamond Designs, near the Magnolia School District school bus yard.

There was no immediate word of the cause of the fire. There were no injuries.

One pumper truck was dispatched along with one water tanker. Two hoses were run from the pumper. The tanker shuttled water from a nearby hydrant.

The fire was located only a few feet away from a high-voltage transmission line between Entergy’s McNeil and West Greene Street stations.
