Two of the people who plan to run for governor of Arkansas in 2022 are crowing about their success in fundraising.
Both are current office holders and Republicans.
Lt. Governor Tim Griffin, who was raised in Magnolia, filed his quarterly campaign finance report for his campaign for governor with the Arkansas Secretary of State’s office.
Griffin raised $894,970 in the third quarter. His total raised is $1,678,651.21 since March 3 and he has $1,623,880.21 cash on hand.
Attorney General Leslie Rutledge announced a fundraising total of $838,340.19 for her first finance report of her campaign for governor of Arkansas in 2022.
Gov. Asa Hutchinson is term-limited and can't seek re-election in 2022.
