A Fulton man was killed Thursday morning in a one-vehicle accident on U.S. 67 in Miller County.
Joseph R. Postlethwait, 25, 5339 U.S. 67 West, was driving a 2002 model Chevrolet SUV south on the highway about 4:36 a.m. The vehicle left the road and struck a tree, then burned. Postlethwait was pronounced dead about two hours later. His body was sent to the State Crime Lab for an examination.
The weather was clear and the road was dry.
The wreck happened at the Miller County Road 112 intersection.
Cpl. John Talley of the Arkansas State Police investigated the accident.
