A Magnolia man was killed and two people were injured during a head-on collision Tuesday afternoon on U.S. 167 in Calhoun County.
According to a preliminary Arkansas State Police report, Jordan DeShaun McBride, 29 was driving a 2009 model Lexus northbound on the highway about 2:10 p.m. He lost control of his vehicle and crossed the center turn lane, striking a southbound 2016 Dodge head-on.
Injured in the Dodge were the driver, Dennis Price, 54, and the passenger, Krishaun Anthony Price, 21, both of Memphis.
All three were taken to Medical Center of South Arkansas, where McBride died.
The weather was clear and the road was dry at the time of the wreck.
Trooper 1st Class Wade Schanzlin investigated the accident.
Funeral arrangements for McBride will be announced by R.L. Reed Funeral Home of Magnolia.
