Columbia County residents spent $369,507 in January to win $223,398 in prizes.

Columbia County had lottery ticket sales totaling $369,507 in January, according to a report released by the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration - Office of the Arkansas Lottery.

This is up from $356,840 sales in December 2018.

For January, Columbia County had lottery winnings of $223,398 awarded. This is up from $213,046 winnings in December.

Statewide, lottery ticket sales totaled $42,855,514 in January with winnings of $29,509,560 awarded. This compares to sales of $43,361,812.50 and winnings of $27,681,742 in December.

The seven neighboring Southwest Arkansas counties surveyed had lottery ticket sales and winnings in January as follows:

Calhoun County had lottery ticket sales of $61,285.50 and winnings of $33,802 in January.

Hempstead County had lottery ticket sales of $431,958 and winnings of $265,051 in January.

Lafayette County had lottery ticket sales of $85,606.50 and winnings of $49,386 in January.

Miller County had lottery ticket sales of $647,656 and winnings of $369,507 in January.

Nevada County had lottery ticket sales of $225,942.50 and winnings of $145,233 in January.

Ouachita County had lottery ticket sales of $615,660.50 and winnings of $390,146 in January.

Union County had lottery ticket sales of $978,389 and winnings of $595,224 in January.
