Churches in the Magnolia area have varied plans for Sunday services during the COVID-19 public health emergency.

Some churches won’t have worship services. Others will offer streaming video. Still others will conduct regular services but with modifications.

Moderator Rev. B.J. Harris and Vice Moderator Rev. Billy Williams of the Columbia District Association have suggested that member churches cease meeting until Sunday, April 5.

Pastors are encouraged to livestream videos of their sermons. Churches may contact either Harris or Williams for more information.

Unity Church Magnolia has closed its doors but will stream services live on its Facebook page at 10:30 a.m. Sundays and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Online giving and prayer requests will be available from the live feed.

First Presbyterian Church has cancelled all activities for the next two weeks.
