Col. Jennifer D. Wesley

U.S. Army Col. Jennifer D. Wesley, a Camden native, has graduated from the U.S. Army War College.

Col. Jennifer D. Wesley has graduated from the U.S. Army War College at Carlisle Barracks, Carlisle, Pa., and earned a master's degree in strategic studies.

The college is the Army's senior educational institution.

The 10-month curriculum of the Army's senior officer school is designed to prepare and train officers of all the U.S. military branches of service, foreign military officers, as well as senior civilian officials of federal agencies, to serve in top-level command and staff positions with the U.S. Armed Forces worldwide.

Col. Wesley is currently serving as strategic planner with the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisitions, Logistics, and Technology, Pentagon, District of Columbia. She has served in the military for 25 years.

Wesley is the sister of Calvin Wesley of Pasadena, Calif., and Karry D. Wesley of Cedar Hill, Texas. She is a 1985 graduate of Camden High School, Camden, Ark. She earned a bachelor's degree in 1989 from University Of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
