Entertainer and fiddler Shoji Tabuchi and his daughter, Christina Lingo-Tabuchi, will bring their family variety show to the Perot Theatre in TEXarkana at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 27.
The Shoji Tabuchi Show is filled with music, production numbers, dancing and vocals. It showcases an array of music, including country, bluegrass, big band, 50s and 60s, Cajun, favorites from Broadway and Hollywood, pop, jazz, swing, classical, gospel, patriotic, and music from today’s top entertainers.
Shoji Tabuchi is no stranger to the Southwest music scene. Prior to Tabuchi’s Branson rise to fame he fiddled his way through many Texas dance halls. He fondly reminisces about playing western swing, “Cotton Eyed Joe,” and music by Bob Wills.
Tickets are on sale at the Perot Theatre by calling 903-792-8681.
