The annual Star Spangled Spectacular will be held at the Camden Municipal Airport on Saturday, July 4.

This year’s event is sponsored by Aerojet Rocketdyne, Camden and Ouachita County Ministerial Alliance, Camden Advertising and Promotion Commission, and local businesses and industries.

The evening will start at 6:30 p.m. with local talent from the McKelvin Brothers. They will be joined at 7 p.m. by Shanna Dorey for the singing of the National Anthem, followed by “The Voice” contestant L.B. Crew ending the evening the headliner, “America’s Got Talent” winner Kris Allen.

The evening will be broadcast on 89.5 KCAC SAU Tech Radio.

There will be special parking and recognizing veterans and active duty military personnel.

COVID-19 guidelines will bring some changes to this year’s event.

Due to guidelines this year’s show will not have inflatables for the kids or concessions.

Event attendees are encouraged to bring their own drinks, snacks, lawn chairs and blankets.

The event will end with a professional fireworks show.
