The Magnolia School District has announced that due to the change to Virtual Learning Friday, report cards for the first nine-weeks grading period will be sent home on Thursday, October 22 instead of Friday, October 23.
Report cards for full-time virtual students will be mailed.
Any other changes to report card distribution will be announced at a later date.
Starting last week, the district decided that through the end of the first semester on December 18, students will attend classes remotely on Fridays only.
It’s hoped that the change will give teachers more time to prepare lesson plans for students who are attending school virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and give school staff more time to clean facilities.
