Homecoming week festivities continue at Magnolia High School on Friday with an assembly and a tribute to one of its finest athletes.
The annual Homecoming assembly will be at 2:15 p.m. Friday in Panther Arena.
Tailgating will be from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Friday in the visitors’ parking lot at Panther Stadium.
The Homecoming court will be presented at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Panther Stadium.

Halftime festivities will recognize the 1999-2000 Magnolia Panthers football team. The classes of 1999 and 2009 will also be asked to stand.
The 1974 Magnolia Panthers football team will be recognized in the stands – the 1975 senior class was the last to win a state football championship for the school.
A brief ceremony will also retire the number “25” of 1974 Panthers team member Roy Green, who played professional football with St. Louis, Arizona and Philadelphia.
The Homecoming Dance will be 7-11 p.m. Saturday at Panther Cafe.
A parade, hot dog supper and pep rally were held Thursday night.
