Southern Arkansas University’s Performing Arts Series will present the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Brass Quintet in concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 29, in Oliver Recital Hall in Dolph Camp Hall on the SAU campus.
The program will feature original works for brass quintet by Collier Jones, Anthony Plog and Michael Kamen, as well as arrangements of works by Giovanni Gabrieli, J.S. Bach and Ann Giffels.
The quintet members are Richard Jorgensen and Larry Jones, trumpets; David Renfro, horn; Michael Underwood, trombone, and Ed Owens, tuba.
The concert is free and open to the public. This program is supported, in part, by the Oliver and Mary Jane Elliott Clegg Endowment for the Performing Arts Recital Series.
